This golden Fall playful engagement photoshoot with these sweet gay lovers in Big Bear Lake is one of my favorites to date! I absolutely loved getting to shoot with Trent and Wes- finally! They have such great energy and made this session a ton of fun with their genuine love for each other.
This was such a perfect crisp, mid-October Fall evening in Big Bear mountain. The evergreen vanilla pines filled the air and our lungs with an aroma only one knows when they visit these mountains. The forest of oak trees had rich yellow and orange-ish leaves to compliment Trent's blue jean jacket and Wes' green plaid button up with a brown cowboy hat for the ultimate mountain man vibes. The golden grass that covered the ground was also a nice contrast to their darker wardrobe. Their fit change at the end was a hit too! I was in heaven taking and editing these photos. I am so happy I finally decided to blog this one!
I had been dying to photograph this gorgeous couple, as I had seen so many photos of them together on the gram. We had known each other for only a few months before this point, but it was as if I had known these guys for years! It was so easy to be around them and soak up their positive, loving energy towards each other. The way they touched or laughed together was palpable. All the little details of this session made it one for the books- including their hand-made rings by local jewelers, Third Eye Co, as you'll see in this blog post!
I hope these images make you smile big and feel the love too, as nothing is more important than equality and love for each other, as humans. The world certainly could use more love and laughter like what's shown here. If you want to follow along their journey, check out their Instagram @harvestmoon_home :) Enjoy!!
